Supervising / Support Pharmacist
Mahers CarePlus Pharmacy – Town Square, Thurles, Co. Tipperary
Mahers CarePlus Pharmacy is currently seeking a Supervising or Support Pharmacist to join our team in Town Square, Thurles.
Our pharmacy is ideally located just off the M8 motorway, making it an easy commute from Limerick and surrounding areas. We are also within easy reach of Thurles train station, making the role accessible for candidates travelling by rail.
Mahers CarePlus Pharmacy is a busy, community-focused pharmacy with a very experienced and supportive team. We take great pride in the friendly atmosphere in the pharmacy and the relationships we build with our patients. The role would suit someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team in a welcoming environment.
Importantly, the pharmacy does not service nursing homes, allowing pharmacists to focus on patient care within the community pharmacy setting.
Mahers is part of a small, independent, family-run group of pharmacies that is continuing to grow, and we are always looking for good people who want to grow with us.
Role Details
– 2–4 days per week (flexible depending on availability)
– Pharmacy opening hours: 9:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Saturday
– Every second Saturday required
– No late evenings or nursing home commitments
Requirements
– PSI registration is essential
– Ability to work confidently in a busy community pharmacy environment
– Strong focus on patient care and professional service
– A friendly and approachable manner with patients and colleagues
