Job Description
McGreals Pharmacy Baltinglass is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician. If you love helping people and enjoy being part of a busy, supportive team, great with patients and always ready with a smile, you’ll fit right in.
What you will be doing:
• Prescription Preparation – Prepare and dispense prescriptions in a caring, accurate and professional manner.
• Monitored Dosing Systems – Prepare and dispense monitored dosing systems accurately and efficiently.
• Customer Service – Provide friendly, professional and welcoming service to all patients and customers. Assist with queries, offer appropriate support and ensure patients feel valued and well cared for.
• Dispensary Ordering – Send and receive orders from pharmaceutical wholesalers and ensure stock is managed appropriately.
• Pharmacy Claims – Prepare and submit the monthly claim to PCRS accurately and on time.
• Teamwork – Work closely with the pharmacy team to maintain a busy, efficient and supportive dispensary environment.
Requirements
You will shine in this role if you have:
• 1+ year experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience of MPS system.
• Excellent communication skills as you will communicate with numerous different people every day, from patients to doctors and also the pharmacy team.
• Professional manner and treat all customers with care, empathy and respect.
• Positive attitude and very well presented.
• Personal appearance is of the utmost importance.
• Be able to work as part of a team while also able to work on your own initiative.
• Excellent time management skills.
