Part-Time Support Pharmacist
Job Description
We are currently seeking a part time support Pharmacist to join a friendly, community pharmacy in Athenry, Co Galway for 1 – 2 days per week. This can be as an employee or as a regular locum and days are open to discussion. This role offers an excellent work–life balance, with no Sundays, bank holidays or late evenings.
The Role
Work as part of a team, overseeing the day to day running of the dispensary
Dispense prescriptions in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the pharmacy guidelines and SOPs in place to ensure accuracy and attention to detail
Maintain appropriate stock levels in the dispensary ensuring the correct storage and monitoring of dated products
Oversee end of month claims and payments when required
Meet our customers and support them with your expert advice
Have a strong professional ethos and commercial understanding
The candidate must be qualified and registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland or eligible to do so.
A minimum of 1 year experience in Community Pharmacy is desirable but not essential.
