Support Pharmacist
Job Description
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently. Review prescriptions for appropriateness, potential drug interactions and contraindications. Provide patient counselling on proper medication use, side effects and storage. Support inventory management, including stock rotation, ordering and checking for expired medications. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimise patient medication therapy. Cover shifts as needed to support the Pharmacy team.
Requirements
We are seeking a dedicated part-time Support Pharmacist to join our team 3 days per week. 1 of these days is every alternative Saturday. There are no Sundays or Bank Holidays.
