Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my interest in a pharmacy position within your organisation. I am a Pharm.D graduate from India, currently living in Galway, and I recently completed my MSc in Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing at Atlantic Technological University.

I am currently progressing through the PSI registration process and my goal is to build a long-term career as a pharmacist in Ireland. I am excited about the opportunity to gain experience in Irish pharmacy practice, continue learning, and contribute positively to patient care.

My background includes experience in hospital pharmacy, community pharmacy, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. During my internship at St. James Hospital, I worked closely with healthcare professionals, participated in ward rounds, supported medication reviews, and documented clinical interventions and adverse drug reactions. I also had the opportunity to provide patient counselling, helping patients understand their medicines, how to take them correctly, and the importance of following their treatment plans.

As a pharmacist, I regularly counselled patients on prescription and over-the-counter medicines, explained dosage instructions, discussed possible side effects, and answered medication-related questions. I enjoyed interacting with patients and helping them feel confident about their treatment. These experiences strengthened my communication skills and deepened my passion for patient-centred care.

In my current role at Merit Medical, I work in a highly regulated GMP environment where accuracy, quality, and attention to detail are essential. This experience has further developed my ability to work responsibly and effectively in healthcare-related settings.

I am a positive, hardworking, and enthusiastic person who enjoys working as part of a team. I am eager to learn, take on new challenges, and continue developing my skills within the Irish healthcare system. I am confident that my pharmacy knowledge, patient-focused approach, and strong work ethic would allow me to make a valuable contribution to your team.
